I designed and new portfolio cover for the web version of my Designer Portfolio for Spring 2010, I will probably be doing this again in 3 months for my Summer 2010 portfolio.
I'm actually working on an article in my blog to explain why I have a different web and print portfolio and how they function.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis may be just the black of the words, but it looks too crowded- Maybe different text styles or some white lettering, other than that, I love the colors and the background blends well with the character up front, especially with her make up and the clothes!
If this were to be a magazine cover it would work, but as above the wording/text color may be too overlooked and the impact of both picture and text won't look balanced.
The use of blending and manipulation is astounding, not to mention the lighting effect and blur!
Keep it up, will you!
